What is the difference between Mewant custom fit and a universal cover?
Universal covers are usually thick, slip-on rings that may leave gaps or move around while driving. Mewant covers are custom-patterned for your exact car model. The edges tuck neatly into the steering wheel spokes, creating a tighter, non-slip, OEM-style look.
Can I install this myself if I have no sewing experience?
Yes. Most customers install it themselves for the first time. The kit includes the main tools you need, such as thread, needles, double-sided tape, and a tucking tool. It usually takes patience rather than professional skill, and the average installation time is about 60–90 minutes.
Do you sell the entire steering wheel or just the cover?
We sell custom-made hand-stitched steering wheel covers only. The steering wheel skeleton, buttons, trim pieces, and airbag are not included. The cover is designed to wrap over your existing factory steering wheel.
Will the cover affect my heated steering wheel function?
It will not affect the core heating function. Because an extra layer of material is added, it may take 1–2 minutes longer to feel the warmth, but the heated steering wheel can still work normally.
How long does production and shipping take?
Each custom cover usually takes 2–3 business days to produce. We offer free shipping for orders over $45.9, Free standard shipping usually takes 10–15 business days for Europe & North America, and 15–25 business days for other countries. Express shipping takes 5-7 business days, you could choose the shipping method at checkout page.
What if my cover arrives damaged or the size is wrong?
Please contact us within 7 days of delivery with clear photos. If the issue is caused by a production error on our side, we will help remake the cover or provide a suitable solution. You can reach us at info@mewantcover.com.
